I looked at the womenfolk. And each seemed to narrate a different story. And in their eyes I saw a whole life submitted to drudgery and acceptance. I fought between pitying them and respecting them.How did they ever manage?
Yet they laughed, joked and lived.Yes, lived. Despite everything they 'lived'.

btw what more can be expected of illiterate village women.. the solution to this is Literacy.. :)
so in short.. they
1.accepted (what life is giving them)
2.were happy
3.have an aim (looking forward to something)
maybe.. the drudgery is not that bad a thing. maybe we are il-literate.
