"Watch for me by moonlight,
Wait for me by moonlight,
I'll come to thee by moonlight,
Though hell should bar the way."

The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes

Had this one in 9th class.Guess it hadn't evoked the same sentiment as it did last night when I stumbled across it.

Isn't it funny that we came across some of the best literature when we weren't even ready for it? Little kids reading Alice In Wonderland, high-schoolers reading Shakespeare, and so on. Just kills whatever it is in literature/poetry that makes it beautiful.

well,my english teacher used to say that every time we'll read them we'll experience something new and something different, may be the charm of age.And the beauty of literature/poetry can't be killed..never.
